چکیده
In this study, the controlled nucleation and growth of gold nanoparticles (GNPs) were investigated using a self-repelled mist in liquid chemical reaction environment. An electrospray-based reduction method was conducted aqueous region at room temperature to synthesize polymeric-stabilized nanoparticles. The electrospray technique used atomize hydrogen tetrachloraurate (III) (HAuCl4) precursor solution into electrostatically charged droplets. atomized droplets dispersed an bath containing L-ascorbic acid as reducing agent polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) stabilizer. effect parameters, specifically flow rate droplet size, well conditions such concentration reactants, pH, stabilizer (PVP), investigated. mean diameter GNPs increased from around 4 9 nm with increase rate, current passing through jet. Spherical monodispersed synthesized relatively high 2 mL/h moderate mM solution. smallest-sized GNP monodispersity obtained pH 10.5 presence PVP. It is expected that continuous mass production engineered other noble metal could be established for scaling up nanoparticle via proposed method.

Objective(s): Biological applications of gold nanoparticles have limitations because of the toxic chemicals used in their synthesis. Curcumin can be used as reducing as well as capping agent in synthesis of GNPs to eliminate the cytotoxicity. Conjugation of curcumin to gold also helps in increasing its solubility and bioavailability. Materials and Methods: Here we report synthesis of gold nanop...

متن کاملMechano-chemical stability of gold nanoparticles coated with alkanethiolate SAMs.
Molecular dynamics simulations are used to probe the structure and stability of alkanethiolate self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) on gold nanoparticles. We observed that the surface of gold nanoparticles becomes highly corrugated by the adsorption of the SAMs. Furthermore, as the temperature is increased, the SAMs dissolve into the gold nanoparticle, creating a liquid mixture at temperatures much...
